Del Tingo Al Tango

 

 

The children of Álamos asked for a summer camp and we met their request, with support from the entire community!

The first camp was offered during the summer of 2011 for five weeks. We had 250 kids (and only 5 teacher-volunteers)! The kids studied science, geography, art, music, and English. They participated in labs, games, songs, and crafts.



The camp was also offered in 2012, and will be offered in the summer of 2013. We look for volunteers each year and appreciate all donations in money or school supplies.



The magic of Álamos lies in its children; their laughter, games, and big dreams. We only want to continue to offer this wonderful opportunity, to provide the children of Álamos with the exciting and educational summer camp they wished for and deserve to have.
